How we approach a crypto story
Crypto markets move continuously, but speed does not make an unverified claim true. We look for the record behind the headline: a filing, release note, transaction, court document, official statement or clearly identified dataset.
When the available evidence is incomplete, the article should say what is known, what remains unconfirmed and what readers can check next.
- Material claims should link to the most direct available source.
- Sponsored material and press releases must be labeled and kept out of newsroom bylines.
- Writers and editors must disclose conflicts that could affect covered subjects.
- Material corrections should explain what changed and when.
